The importance of the members

Fruttagel brings together over 14 farms which, together with another 250 producers, produce the best products from the thousands of hectares of land cultivated in typical areas of Emilia Romagna.

Thanks to its members, Fruttagel is therefore able to produce 100% of the processed vegetables and tomatoes, and 50% of the transformed and conserved fruit. At its plants, Fruttagel transforms the recently picked fruits and vegetables into food products that conserve all their natural properties intact.

The company's activities are divided into two major production lines: the "hot line", where the nectars, juices, ice tea and pulps are produced; and the "cold line", where the frozen vegetables are produced. One key aspect of the company's policy is the ability of producer members to adhere to the Fruttagel production terms and any specific requirements of the client.

In this context the assistance Fruttagel offers farm manufacturers through its Agronomy Service has a strategic role, from the purchase of seeds to the selection of varietals, from assistance in the application of the production measures to the identification of optimum seeding and harvest periods.

30% of the fruit transformed by the company derives from pesticide-free production, carried out using methods developed by Fruttagel. Also of increasing relevance is the organic production certified by CCPB.
