Great success for Fruttagel, which was awarded the 5th edition of the Social Report Library Award: national recognition for companies that stand out in the field of sustainability applied to their production area through the reporting tool.
From the compostable pack for frozen foods to the purifier for water recovery, from the cogeneration plant for energy efficiency and the reduction of CO2 to the relamping initiatives of the two company plants (Alfonsine and Larino): these are the main environmental projects presented by the company and evaluated as winners by the Jury of the Award which met in Milan last December 5th.
Over the years, Fruttagel’s Sustainability Report has become one of the strategic reporting tools for relations between the company, the environment and the main stakeholders. A report of the different actions carried out in the field of environmental and social sustainability, including the educational project Dal campo al banco with Ortilio, aimed at the primary schools of Ravenna and Alfonsine, which involved more than 370 classes in 5 editions.
