Also this year Fruttagel has renewed its commitment to the sponsorship of the Bartolomeo Scappi International Competition, now in its 21st edition.
The competition, organized by the Istituto Alberghiero Bartolome Scappi of Castel San Pietro Terme (BO), aims to promote initiatives in the field of food education and forms of consumption that are more respectful of the environment and of the enogastronomic and culinary traditions of our country . The aims of the competition, which for years has received considerable approval at national and European level, are to create a system through an integrated path that has as priority objectives the improvement of professionalism and quality of catering services, the discovery and enhancement of traditions gastronomy of the territories, the spread of quality agri-food products.
The initiative is aimed at classes 3-4 and 5 of all State Professional Institutes for Hotel and Restaurant Services. The initiative, which took place this year from April 8th to 11th, included an articulation in three sections: kitchen, sommellerie and food and wine exhibition.
As a corollary of the competition, the Gala dinner on the evening of Wednesday 10 April, the official awarding ceremony for the winning students in the presence of the sponsors who supported the initiative.
