Building on the success of the first four editions, Fruttagel also proposed the fifth edition of the educational path for children and their families from the school to the counter with Ortilio for the 2018-2019 school year.

The project, consistent with the corporate mission of Fruttagel, aimed to promote healthy lifestyles and correct and balanced eating habits both at school and in the family, enhancing the quality and genuineness of the food supply chain and encouraging environmentally-friendly behavior. All this thanks to Ortilio, mascot character of the route, bearer and supporter of these important values for a healthy and sustainable growth.

The project, which involved 75 classes of primary schools in the municipalities of Alfonsine and Ravenna, provided for a series of carefully designed educational interventions based on the age of the students. The classroom activities were carried out by the experts of the social cooperative Ecosapiens, a cooperative reality that acts as a link between the company and the scholastic world, specialized in the development of educational projects on the theme of sustainability and healthy nutrition. Through team-based narratives and educational games, educators have conveyed to young people information on correct eating habits and healthy lifestyles, focusing on the basic principles of food and environmental education.

The classes participating in the project also participated in the educational contest linked to the educational path, entitled The Perfect Label, an activity aimed at making the little ones reflect on the importance of correct reading of the labels to make informed food choices: each class had the task of making the label of a fruit-based product and a vegetable-based product defining the essential information to be included
Furthermore, it was asked to present a brief report describing the comparison and analysis path made in class to define which indications to report on the labels and their graphic realization.

The papers were evaluated by an internal Fruttagel jury, which decreed the following winning classes based on objective parameters of consistency, originality and structuring:

1st CLASSIFIED ex aequo CLASS 3A AND 3B PRIMARY SCHOOL GIOVANNI PASCOLI RAVENNA
2nd CLASSIFIED CLASSE 2 PRIMARY SCHOOL CASTIGLIONE DI RAVENNA

A prize was awarded to the winning classes of the competition for teaching technology for the educational institution.

The prize-giving party, which took place on Saturday 18 May at the Porto Fuori (RA) sports field, was animated by sports courses designed for the young winners and included a final buffet for children, their families and teachers present for the day.
